Bruce Billson is ignoring the needs of Mornington residents in several ways. He is encouraging the greater use of car transport over public transport initiatives. He has decided to take the easy political route of supporting a toll free freeway instead.
Bruce Billson is bad news for Mornington because:
- His Government has ripped apart Medicare leaving Mornington with a shortage of bulk billing doctors and more expensive medicines.
- Bruce Billson has ignored the overwhelming opposition of Mornington residents to the destruction of the environment by supporting policies of environmental vandalism
- He meddles in state and local council affairs for political gain and most of all to get his picture in the newspaper.
- He supports the deepening of the Port Phillip Bay channel which threatens the destruction of some marine life in the bay.
